The hugely successful online poker website FullTilt.com is taking the coverage to the next level with the 2009 World Series of Poker with their 2009 World Series of Poker Coverage Page, a new website dedicated to give players on everything related to the WSOP 2009, including players views, players’ insights, players’ coverage, minute to minute updates, poker stars’ blogs and more.
FullTiltPoker.com’s new 2009 WSOP Coverage Page is not the same ol’ news section provided by tons of other sites. The site is broken down into three areas, and includes a daily highlights part in where viewers can get access to the WSOP 2009 events info, results, players and more in a series of articles written by the FullTilt.com staff members Roy Winston and AlCantHang. Besides the typical daily updates and results on all of the event, FullTilt.com’s WSOP Coverage Page also features two poker blogs, Poker from the Rail Blog, which highlights comments, covering news, insider info from Full Tilt star players, comments from FullTiltPoker.com’s players and authors and guest posts from guest bloggers, and the Pro Blog, which highlights commentaries from members of Team Full Tilt participating in the World Series of Poker 2009, including Andy Bloch, Jon “Pearljammed” Turner and Roy Winston.
Also, Full Tilt Poker’s new WSOP Coverage Page has a Twitter section that provides live updates and notes from different poker players. Poker players involved in the Twitter portion include, Beth Shak, Jennifer Harman, Andy Bloch, Howard Lederer, Mike Matusow and Rafe Furst. The Twitter portion allows players to send short messages allowing people from around the world to stay informed. These updates known as “tweets”, can be forwarded from anywhere through a cellular phone or other portable device.
